Hi, I am Pankaj Rasgania. I am an IPS officer of 2020 batch, serving in Meghalaya cadre. I am an alumnus of IIT Delhi of 2017 Batch (B.Tech in Electrical Engineering). More details about my career and postings can be found on career page. This is my personal blog.

In today's world, where issues related to dominance of big techs and data privacy crop up every now and then, it is always better to be in control of your data. If you look back, you must have shared a lot of your content on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Medium, Quora and many others. Who is in custody of your data? Of course, with new legislations like DPDP Act of India and GDPR of EU, you can now download and "take back" all your data, but it is still in control of big techs. Honestly, an average user will not bother to download her data for back ups. But what happens when any of the big tech fails or when a "free" platform becomes paid? You are forced to exit the platform, with your data.

Hence, through this website, I am striving to keep my content at one place and "own" my content in truest sense of the word.

In my leisure time, I love to read on different topics. I find the internet technology very fascinating (it's unprecedented that we can send information across thousand of miles within seconds and the best thing is no one "owns" the internet). Sometimes, I try to code apps for personal use. Fun fact, this website is designed and coded by me.
